This particualar handset is a standard 'K' or 'G' style (square or round receiver). They are carbon as oppossed to electret microphones. Cords are extra as is the plug prong adaptor for connection into the radio console. Noise canceling adapters can be added to the G style by replacing the transmiter cap on the handset.
