Starkey S136 Training 'Y' cable with Mute

'Y' cables are used to simplify supervisor training of new employees. The trainee starts off with call control. Should the trainee have an issue and need 'bailing out' the supervisor may take over the call by activating the 'Mute' feature (turning off their mute feature). This places the trainee in a 'listen only' mode while the supervisor deals with the issue. The 'Y' cord snaps into the amplifier or DC quick disconnect. The trainee connects to the trainee side while the supervisor plugs into the mute switch. As long as the Trainee has no problems during the call, they maintain both transmit and receive while the supervisor is in the listen only mode.
