The M22 Modular Amplifier from Plantronics literally works on any phone with a modular handset connection. This device provides adjustments for both transmit and receive and is compatible with any Plantronics top with a Quick Disconnect.
Some telephone sets such as Avaya 6424D+M do not need this device. There are many phones with a separate modular 'headset port.' If you have one of these you may not need the M22 or any other amplifier. Direct connect cords are available for these situations and will save you money.
