The TriStar headset is an Ear hook model using ear buds. The headset works best in the voice tube version. The microphone on the noise canceling version is way too heavy and causes the headset to 'flop.'
The first time you try putting on the TriStar you may have some difficulty. Once you figure it out you will find this headset to not only be very comfortable but also, because of the ear buds, deliver very good sound. The TriStar is sort of the replacement for Plantronics original StarSet in-the-ear headset top.
