The Plantronics CS50 USB uses 900mhz digital technology. This unit allows the user to access VOIP technology via the computer's USB port. The CS50 is noise canceling and convertible from over the head to over the ear. Because of the longer boom, the transmit quality of the user's voice is better than most other wireless headsets.
Wrong microphone positioning is the most frequent problem users have with headsets. When the caller says they cannot hear you, check your microphone position. This is why Plantronics uses fixed booms. There is no way to get the mic out of position.
